Dialogue Of Skull And Soul

...I caked my pith to Rock and Roll.

No doubt I pinched the title from the Yeats poem Dialogue of Self and Soul. I rather like 'caked my pith' as a made-up archaism... though as with Lament (The Uncle of the Boot) there is a rather bizarre incongruity between the subject matter and the style. I think Geff (Geff Rushton) liked this one, I suspect because of the 'skull', but there's nothing very gothic about the song -- baroque perhaps! Recorded September 81. GG
