The Uncle Of The Boot
My friend, you're gonna meet him
The title comes from a dodgy translation of a brand of cheap Spanish wine. The brand name in spanish is TIO DE LA BOTA and the carton shows a man drinking from a leather wine pouch (or whatever those things are called). I sang and I think I played synth and Gerard played guitar. The actual recording goes on for a lot longer. BN
I think I did play the guitar on this one, one of two tracks (released anyway) on which I attempted this; the other one is 'Aluminium Tubes', also on this tape. GG
The originally released edit appears on Press My Hungry Button, the full version is released for the first time on Still Hungry.
