Super Whippy

2017

Originally released by Bleak in 2017 (Bleak 63).

Fifteen instrumentals.

For the last several years, CA has always had a large collection of working projects: would-be-songs without lyrics. John and I took a bunch of the ones that seemed like they would never work as a backing for vocals and "finished" them as instrumental pieces instead.

The release copy

"CA have always made instrumental music, but Super Whippy is their first completely instrumental album. Comprising 15 compact tracks, postpunk, industrial, progressive and art rock, psychedelia, exotica, ambient, '90s and 2000s electronica – warp and cavort in the genre-blending kaleidoscope, the carousel, the confection that is... Super Whippy!"
