John's first electric guitar. It was to be replaced by John's imposing, black and progressive rock-ist double-necked guitar. Features most distinctly in the guitar solo on Madrush (Video Rideo). One of it's last outings was Blind Rag.

It eventually became a kind of art object and was finally dismantled.

The photo isn’t the exact model but John says that it’s close enough except for the tremolo which was ‘only for emergencies when you’d accidentally got it in tune and wanted to knock it hopelessly out of tune in a hurry’
